The Investiture Ceremony of newly elected school council members for the academic session 2018-2019 was held with great pomp and dignity at the school campus On Thursday, 26th of April 2018. The chief guest for the event was Mr. Ali Al Sayaari , Deputy General of Baniyas Police Station. Mr.Amol Vaidya,  Director Operations, Dr. Heena Rachh, Principal GIIS Abu Dhabi and Mr. Rajendran Padmanabhan, Head of Operations were our dignitaries for the event .

The event began by evoking the blessing of Almighty.  Mr.Amol Vaidya  then addressed the gathering, he congratulated our student leaders and reminded them of their crucial role in taking the school  to newer heights and resplendence. Parents watched with awe as a live band and trumpet encouraged our student leaders to march towards the dais. This was followed by the pinning of the badges and presenting the sashes by the Principal followed by all other dignitaries. It was truly a defining moment in a student’s life. The Team members were brimming with confidence to shoulder the newly assigned duties. Our Principal then exhorted the Student Council members with oath of the office. In her address to the gathering, she inspired and encouraged the elected leaders to be dutiful and responsible. School Head Girl , Abhishikta Goswami  administered the office bearers oath. The campus echoed with their powerful words of determination to set an example for others to emulate and lead the school sincerely.

It was indeed a very proud moment for GIIS Abu Dhabi. A great investiture concluded with lot of hopes & aspirations for our future leaders.
